賈達博士於1995年出任美國協同出版社第七任社長，具豐富牧養經驗，曾任三間教會的地區牧師達15年之久，深切明白信徒的靈命需要。在82至87年間，他曾任職於美國協同神學院教牧部，並制定了新一輯崇拜學程，為美加各地約2500個牧者廣泛採用。
Dr. Carter became the seventh president of Concordia Theological Seminary in the United States in 1995. He has extensive pastoral experience, having served as a regional pastor in three churches for 15 years, and deeply understands the spiritual needs of believers. From 1982 to 1987, he worked in the pastoral department of Concordia Theological Seminary in the United States, where he developed a new worship curriculum that was widely adopted by approximately 2,500 pastors throughout the United States and Canada.
